How to Find Us
We are
located just off the B757 Birdston Road about half way between
Kirkintilloch and Milton of Campsie. From Kirkintilloch we are about
1 1/2 miles from MacDonald’s, just before the village of Birdston,
you will see two 30 MPH speed signs, we are on the LEFT thru
the RED gate, just follow the track.
We have a purpose built and well
maintained field, with
virtually no obstructions. sharing with the local gun club,
there are some restrictions at the field; usually the first Sunday
of the month is gun club only. With exception to this we
have access 10am to 8pm every day
We accommodate most types of radio controlled model
aircraft, including fixed wing, multi-engine, helicopters, glider
etc.
we welcome all
new members with support and training
being provided for beginners.
The club operate and are affiliated
too, the SAA safety code and
achievement scheme.
